Stuff will ONLY be able to set on fire if it is on screen so if you dont want to burn down every resource in the world then you need to clear the area directly around canp and get an ice flingomatic in the center of your camp to protect everything. in the summer EVERYTHING WILL RANDOMLY BE ON FIRE. Since you will probably ask about summer next: For the summer all you need to survive without making the rest of the world burn is an ice flingomatic, a hoard of food, and another 2 thermal stones.
